Description:

Herb. Herb; flower: petals 4, imbricate; half red, half white without, white within; young fruit cranberry colored.

Habitat:

Growing in moss on rocks. Primary mixed forest on boulder outcrop, steep hillside above stream; lg. aroid ±lm tall dominates understory.
