Location:

Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Mt. Wokomung, ridgeline 0.5 km NE of Wokomung escarpment adjacent Ka-Mie-Wah pinnacle. Alt. 1400 - 1500 m. (4593 - 4921 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub 2 m; leaf vestiture white; fruit born in leaf axils, purplish blue, globose, 0.3 cm dia.

Habitat:

Medium canopy cloud forest, 20-30 m; organic soils on sand with numerous sandstone boulders. Melastomataceae, Arecaceae, Clusiaceae, mixed hardwoods and abundant pteridophytes.
