Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Mt. Kukuinang, Kukuinang savanna, 2-3 km SSW from mountain peak. Alt. 950 - 1050 m. (3117 - 3445 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub 0.4 m; vestiture brown; fruit dark purple, globose, 0.75 cm diameter.

Habitat:

White sand savanna; low sclerophyllous vegetation, scattered scant scrub islands and sheetrock. Dominants: Stegolepis, Saxofridericia, orchids, melastomes, Theaceae, Brocchinia.
