Location:

Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Mt. Wokomung, central summit plateau; 0.5-1 km S, 1-2 km E along creek area and ridge. Alt. 1500 - 1530 m. (4921 - 5020 ft.)

Description:

Tree. Tree 5 m; calyx green; corolla white, translucent; stamens and style white; immature fruit green, globose, 0.2 cm diameter.
Habitat:

Scrub forest on sandstone, canopy 5-15 m; atmosphere saturated. Major taxa: Clusiaceae, Arecaceae, Schefflera, Cyatheaceae, melastomataceous and malpighiaceous trees; understory of bambusoid grasses, ferns, Rubiaceae, woody Asteraceae, Cyperaceae. Abundant epiphytic moss cover.
