Location:

Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Mt. Wokomung, summit plateau; from central plateau 1-2 km N to escarpment. Alt. 1500 - 1530 m. (4921 - 5020 ft.)

Habitat:

Scrub forest on sandstone, 5-15 m canopy; high precipitation and mist. Major taxa: Clusiaceae, Arecaceae, Schefflera, Cyatheaceae, melastome and malpighiaceous trees; understory of bambusoid grasses, ferns, large ground bromeliads, Rubiaceae, Asteraceae shrubs, Cyperaceae. Non-vascular epiphytes abundant.
