Herb. Herb; fruit translucent, faded violet.

Habitat:
On streambank. Montane evergreen forest, canopy 30-40 m. Large trees including Lecythidaceae, Fabaceae - rich in epiphytes, lianas, fungi. Creek with sandstone talus, rich in herbs. Soils sandstone and laterite derived.
