Description:

Shrub ca. 2.5 m tall with brown-gray bark. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Cloud forest with Podocarpus, Hedyosmum, Miconia, Meriania, Cyrilla, Myrsine, Ilex, Psychotria, Cestrum, Alsophila, Cyathea, and Chusquea. Occasional.
