Description:

Shrubs to 4 m tall; flowers white, anthers white (actinomorphic); young fruits reddish. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Very disturbed dry slope forest. Also saw Miconia quadrangularis, M. laevigata, M. dodecandra. Occasional. Clay soil.
