Location:

Costa Rica. Puntarenas. Aguabuena, 3.5 km W of Rincon. Along trail leading north from the house of Don Quecho, W of Boscosa station. Alt. 250 m. (820 ft.)

Description:

Tree some 12 m x 14 cm. Bark whitish, thinly flanking. Fruits green with waxy surface that turns sticky after scrapping. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Tall, undisturbed forest. In elevated, well-drained terrain.
