Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the city of Uruçuca, and the road leading in the direction of Serra Grande, BA-653. Beginning at the point along BA-653 closest to the approximate geographic center of the city of Uruçuca (-14.5886504 -39.2817235), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 30.7 km (30700.4 m) along BA-653 towards Serra Grande. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find coordinates for the offset. Using Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again, found the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the city of Uruçuca, by measuring from the selected starting coordinates near the center of the city to the farthest extent of the city.
