Description:

Shrub 90 cm tall; petals reddish-purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Brejo. Hillside with blocky quartzite outcrops, sloping down to streams; cerrado on hillside, gallery forest along streams, and brejos (sedge meadows) just above the forests.
