Description:

Straggling shrub, half vine; the part pulled down was 4 m; Calycine bracts green, corolla white, stamens suffused with palest lavender; fruit bright red, almost carmine; stamens filling half or more of the cycle; small formicaria in lvs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Ridge ascending into central Cutucú.
