Description:

Trees 6-7 m tall; bark whitish-gray. Leaves coriaceous, dark green above, pale green below. Rachis and immature fruits pale green.

Habitat:

Amazonian campina. White sand area, with vegetation mostly 5-6 m tall, and with sparse assurgent trees, 15-20 m tall.
