Description:

Bushy shrubs; branches lax and slender; leaves lucid green above, paler green beneath, gradually recurved; inflorescent peduncles green; the pedicels and calyx deep pink or purplish; the corolla whitish above the bases; stamens and anthers also pink.
Habitat:

mostly upon large tree trunks but occasionally on wet moss covered ground.
