Description:

Much branched shrubs... wood brittle; old bark coarsely checked, younger one smooth and yellowish grey; stems and larger branches angled; foliage coriaceous, strongly conduplicate, shining green above, yellowish green beneath; paniculate inflorescence subpendulous, terminal, red ½ to 1 foot long and nearly as wide across the base; bract small similarly coloured.

upon or overhanging limestones.
