Numerously branched from the base, 2 m high; branches rigid, erect or suberect, rebranched; leaves flat, dull bottle green above, much paler beneath, thick, rigid and easily breaking with a snap; panicles pink, mostly lateral but occasionally terminal. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
