Description:

Subshrub to ca. 50 cm. Leaves dark glossy green above, very small. Calyx tube tinged red. Petals vermilion with bright yellow base. Stamens golden yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Low grasslands on quartzitic sand, with scattered woodland.
