Ecuador. Esmeraldas. Quinindé (Canton). The Mache-Chindul Ecological Reserve. Bilsa Biological Station. Mache Mountains, 35 km W of Quinindé, 5 km W of Santa Isabel. Along Dogala trail. Alt. 400 - 600 m. (1312 - 1968 ft.)

Description:

Hemiepiphyte on trunk. Inflorescence an axillary compound cyme. Mautre fruit a purple berry.

Habitat:

Mature forest with cleared/disturbed understory and intact canopy. Premontane Wet Forest.
