Description:

Tree 7 m tall with extraordinary large leaves to more than 4 dm long. No flowers seen. Only old pendant infrutescences collected. Upper internodes quadrate, producing a clear sticky sap when cut with medullary vascular bundles evident in the pith.
Habitat:

Cloud forest. Uncommon.
