Description:

Subshrub, 1-1.5 m tall, somewhat spreading. Stems and petioles green, hirsute, the trichomes whitish. Inflorescence reddish, hirsute throughout with long, dark red trichomes. Hypanthium dark purplish red; corolla white. Fruit maturing dark purple, the trichomes persisting. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Along path, mostly shade, in understory.
