Location:

French Guiana. Station biologique "les Nouragues", 8 km N of Sautes Pararé, Arataye River. Alt. 100 - 200 m. (328 - 656 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Small shrub, ±1m high. Leaves mossy-green above, lighter green under. Fruits white with bluish-purple shine when ripe, darker blue when unripe.

Habitat:

Primary lowland rain forest.
