Description:

Shrub. Shrub to 2m. Stems with tan, dark-tipped non-glandular hairs. Leaves with 7 main veins, red-violet hairs on petioles, under surface of veins and margins of young leaves. Inflorescences on stems beneath leaves and in leaf axils. Sparsely branched inflorescence sap to 6cm long. Flower: gamosepalous, narrow calyx, green with red glandular hairs and 4 acute red lobes. Gamopetalous white corolla with 4 translucent acute lobes with magenta at bases, slightly reflexed. 10 white stamens with white rugose anthers in pairs. Straight greenish white style with fuzzy-looking stigma.
