Description:

Shrub. Shrub, 8-10 ft tall; leaves coriaceous, ascending, dark green above, dull green and paler below; youngest leaves ferruginous below; petals white; filaments white, anthers yellow; style white; calyx dull rose-lavender.
Habitat:

Forested south-facing slopes overlying sandstone.
