Description:

Epiphyte. Erect herb growing on fallen log (epiphyte?). Upper side of leaves green, purple below. Inflorescence a terminal helicoid cyme. Fruits an elongated capsule. Corolla green; petals white; stamens yellow; filaments pink.
Habitat:

Flooded gallery forest. Lots of epiphytes; Zingerberales abundant.
