Location:

Guyana. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Along the Koatse R.; ±2 km E of Pong R, ± 5 hrs walk S of Chinoweing Village. Alt. 600 - 650 m. (1968 - 2133 ft.)

Description:

Herb. Epiphytic herb; calyx light green, corolla and anthers white, filaments translucent; fruit green.

Habitat:

Mostly restricted to trunk bases. Riverine flood plain forest on white and brown sands. Canopy spp. include Pentaclethra, Dicymbe, Bombacaceae, Inga.
