Guyana. Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo. NW Kanuku Mountains; watershed of Nappi creek tributary, 12 km NW of Nappi Mountain. Local name of area "Bank of Guyana". Alt. 500 - 700 m. (1640 - 2297 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub, 1 m; flowers white and pink; fruit translucent reddish green.

Habitat:

Mixed forest on ridges. On streambank boulders. Mora forest near creek. Dominants - Burseraceae, Lecythidaceae, Fabaceae, occasional Truli Palm.
