Guyana. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Pakaraima Mountains; Heika River, 4 km E of Chinoweing village. Alt. 700 - 800 m. (2297 - 2625 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub, 2 m; entire plant with red glandular hairs; calyx green turning yellow with dark red lobes, corolla cream. Fruit maturing dark blue.

Habitat:

White sand savanna interface with marshland.
