Description:

Locally common small tree to 6 m tall; flower buds green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Moist montane forest along stream (in ravine) with Miconia dielsiana, M. tetrastoma, Conostegia icosandra, Tetrazygia crotonifolia, Psiguria trifoliolata, Begonia.
