Description:

Viscous shrub to ca. 2 m tall. Corolla magenta; stamens purple, the connectives cream. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Cerrado and low forest among sandstone outcrops, summit gray sandy soil. Common in wet places.
