Description:

shrub, to 3 m. tall. Shrub, to 3 m. tall; leaves with primary, secondary veins impressed, tertiary veins slightly impressed, quaternary veins very slightly impressed to flat. No flowering or fruiting material seen. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
Habitat:

Disturbed cloud forest, with Brunellia, Weinmannia, Miconia, Magnolia, Gonodesia, Eugenia, Myrsine, Ocotea, Calyptranthes, Persea, Sagraea, Leandra, Meriania, Lyonia, Psychotria, Ilex, Coccoloba, Calycogonium, Henriettea, Clidemia. Occasional. Over limestone.
