Tree. Tree, 30 ft tall; petals rose-pink or orchid-rose; filaments rose-orchid; anthers yellow; appendages orchid-purple; calyx, rachis, pedicels rufous-brown; leaves coriaceous, dark green above, rufous-brown below; petioles, stems dull castaneous-brown.
