Description:

Uncommon shrub to ca. 3 m tall; immature inflorescences with reddish bracts; old fruits present. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Open forest of Pinus occidentalis with open areas of Danthonia domingensis. Uncommon.
