Description:

Small tree ca. 2.5 m tall. Bark gray-brown. Young fruits tinged heavily with red-purple. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Disturbed roadside in cloud forest. With Brunellia, Mecranium, Hedychium spp., and Miconia spp. Locally common.
