Haiti. Ouest. Massif de la Selle. Morne Boutilliers. Roadcut on S side of Rte. Boutelliers 1.9 km W of Kenscoff-Furcy road and 0.4 km W of the transmission towers. Alt. 900 m. (2953 ft.)

Description:

Shrub ca. 3 m tall. Flower with hypanthium green, tinged with red-purple, petals white, strongly reflexed, stamens and styles white. Fruit purple-black. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Disturbed vegetation with Pinus, Eupatorium, Agave, Oreopanax, Croton, and Bocconia. Occasional.
