Ecuador. Morona Santiago. Gualaquiza (Canton). East of town and of Río Gualaquiza. Within 3 km of town of Gualaquiza. Alt. 1000m. (3281 ft.)

Description:

Stem not seen, fronds coming from ground a few/several cm apart. Stipe 130-145, blade 115-125 cm. Basal pinnae basiscopically developed, others nearly even. Very slightly reduced at base, rather quickly reduced to apex, which resembles pinnae tips. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

In swampy forest.
