Description:

Palm, cespitose, 3.5 m. tall. Stem cespitose, leaning, 3.5 m. tall, 0.5 cm. diam. Leaves 6; sheath 9 cm.; petiole 15 cm.; rachis 13 cm. Inflorescence infrafoliar. National Cancer Institute voucher specimen; leaves and stems collected. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
