2. Distictis pulverulenta (Sandwith) A. Gentry, Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard. 63: 77. 1976. Distictella pulverulenta Sandw., Brittonia 3: 91. 1938. Type. Brazil, Amazonas, Krukoff 8685 (BM, BR, F, GH, MO, NY, U). The necessity of transferring this species from Distictella to Distictis has been discussed elsewhere (Gentry, 1976).
