Bignonia fallax Cham. =Memora pubescens (Spreng.) K. Schum. Memora is distinguished by pinnate or bipinnate leaves and terete branchlets. Its yellow flowers are of the "Anemopaegma-type'' and its inflorescence is often conspicuously bracteate. The fruit may be oblong or linear usually with very few seeds. The genus ranges from Colombia through Brazil and Paraguay. Three species reach the Guayana Highland.
