Description:

Epiphytic herb. Tough orange creeping rhizome. Leaves dark green. Inflorescence on thin pendulous axis. Pedicels etc. bright pink. Young fruit green turning black. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

In gallery forest. Growing on ants nest about 3 metres from the ground in the bough of a tree, in gallery forest.
