Description:

epiphytic herb. Epiphyte on tree stump, leaves pale green (almost white at base) except for a portion 7 cm long near base that is dark lilac. Scape and inflorescence bracts pale green but becoming orangish-red, calyx green, flowers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Upland forest on hilly terrain, canopy open, many large trees. Rare.
