Description:

climbing epiphyte. Root-climbing epiphyte, inflorescence bracts and infructescence white, stamens yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

"Restinga" -- forest on high terrace, level terrain, reportedly regenerating from dominant arborescent bamboo dieback 2-3 years ago.
