Description:
Trunk 3 ft. thick, branched from below the middle; branchlets widely spreading; smooth leaves membranous, conduplicate on the upper side, dark green above, glauscent below; inflorescence suberect, stigma yellow; petiole and petiolule redish; bark gray mottled, whitish beneath the skin; the 5 inches thick sap-wood whitish, the heart-wood yellow, moderately hard, with a peculiar greenish odor and bitter taste. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
