Description:

Tree. Tree 25m, fruits oblong-ellipsoid, turning black, 2.5cm long, mesocarp yellow. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Open forest with palms on high terraces only occasionally dissected by streams. No presence of taboca (Guadua palm).
