Description:

Tree, 22 m x 50 cm. Bole cylindric, irregular toward buttresses, the buttresses steep, to 2 m high, branched toward base, thin. Bark smooth, the slash orangish, many fruit fragments below tree, apparently opened by animals to eat seeds. [Photo fruit sections].

Habitat:

Forest in low area along river.
