Description:

Tree. Tree with broken crown, 8m x 7cm, outer bark black, very smooth, thin, inner bark tan. Flowers white. Many branchlet apices hollow and inhabited by ants. Near stream-bed. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Flat terrain not flooded or only shallowly and briefly. Discontinuous canopy @ 25m, understory vegetation dense.
