liana. Liana 8 m in tree, fruits immature, borne 3 m from ground. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Open forest on undulating terrain, non-dominant presence of taboca (Guadua); terra firme except for "baixios" (waterlogged low-lying areas). Rare. Sandy clay soils.
