Description:

Tree 15 m x 10 cm, on steep slope. Outer bark pale gray, lenticellate, with many hoop marks, thin, inner bark rose, fibrous.
Habitat:

Primary terra firme forest on terrain deeply dissected by many streams, soils apparently poorly drained.
