Description:

Tufted sedge to ca. 30 cm., with reddish bases and reddish leaf-sheaths. Spikelets whitish-green at first, later green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Coastal rain forest with small river and clearings with disturbed ground.
