French Guiana. Pic Matécho, ca. 22.5 km NE of Les Eaux Claires. Between base camp and north facing waterall. Alt. 468 - 500 m. (1535 - 1640 ft.)

Description:

Herb. Herb. Decumbent. Stems and abaxial leaf blades surface red. With hint of lighter coloring along midrib adaxially. Young plants more distinctly variegated. Fruit only.

Habitat:

Non-flooded moist forest.
