Description:

epiphyte. Root-climbing epiphyte, inflorescences erect, spathe (only one seen) pale green when closed, spadices immature. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Open forest with palms and weak presence of Guadua sarcocarpa, canopy ca. 25 m. Deeply dissected terrain. Many Marantaceae, few lianas. Occasional. Sandy clay soil.
